Independent · Product people can use

I build products end to end, and then run them.

I've built a product alone and kept it running, which means I've done every job it needed: deciding what to build, designing it, writing it, and answering the people using it. I work on tools where the data has to be right, because someone makes decisions based on it. Open to remote roles and contract work, wherever the team is.

What I take on

One field, several seats.

The domain stays the same; where I sit in it depends on what a team needs. These are the areas I can own rather than assist with.

Product
Deciding what to build and in which order, and saying no to the rest. Scoping features so they still fit together four releases later.
Design
Interfaces for dense, numeric data, where the challenge is hierarchy and legibility rather than decoration. Design systems and tokens that hold up across a whole product.
Engineering
Full product builds in TypeScript and Postgres. Data models that survive new requirements, and the unglamorous parts: imports, edge cases, wrong numbers.
Customer support
Answering the people who use the thing, in German or English, and turning recurring complaints into changes instead of a longer FAQ. Writing documentation someone can actually follow.
Video & motion
Short-form editing for product and social: demos, walkthroughs, feature clips. Comfortable taking something from raw screen recording to a clip worth posting.

Work

What I've built.

Multifunctional web platform

Own product · built solo

2026 — present

A multifunctional platform that pulls tracking, analysis and reporting across several areas into one tool instead of five. I own all of it: scope, design, build, and the support inbox. Live and in use.

Happy to walk through it in detail — the short version is here on purpose.

How I work

Long decisions over quick ones.

I build things I expect to still be maintaining in three years, which changes what a good decision looks like. Given the choice between a fix that ships today and a structure that holds when the next four features arrive, I take the structure — and I'll say so before you ask.

Owning a product alone teaches you where your own limits are. I'll tell you early when something is outside what one person should carry, rather than discovering it three months in.

Where I'm useful.

Anywhere the hard part is the detail rather than the surface: products with real data behind them, interfaces that stay readable when the numbers get dense, and users who need a straight answer instead of a longer help page.

A short description of the problem and the constraints is enough to start. I answer within a day or two.
